This policy covers valuemethodstudio.com and the emails we send. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version
We collect very little. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever. We never see anything you write inside the files you buy — that stays on your own device. The one thing worth knowing is that our checkout is run by Digistore24, and our advertising uses the Meta pixel; both are described below.
What we collect, and why
If you buy something
The purchase is processed by Digistore24, which acts as the reseller and is the party that actually takes your payment. You enter your name, email address and payment details on their checkout, not on our site. We never receive your card details. What reaches us is your name, your email address, and the details of what you ordered — which we need in order to deliver the product and answer you if something goes wrong. Digistore24 processes that data under its own privacy policy, shown to you on the checkout page.
If your product includes the check-in emails
Your email address and first name are passed to the service we use to send those emails, so that the sequence can run. It is used for that and for occasional messages about the products — nothing else, and never rented or sold. Every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
If you only visit the site
Our pages carry the Meta pixel, which tells us how many people reached a page and how many went on to buy, and lets us show our advertising to people who have visited. It does that by placing cookies and by sending Meta a record of the page you viewed together with an identifier for your browser. It does not tell us who you are by name.
Our web host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs — the address of your request, your IP address, the time, and which browser you used. Those are kept for security and troubleshooting, and are not used to build any profile of you.
What we do not collect
- Your card number. It never touches our site.
- Anything you type into the files you buy. Those are ordinary PDFs, filled in on your own device; nothing is transmitted anywhere, and no symptom you record is ever visible to us.
- Any special category health data about you. We ask no health questions and hold no health records.
Who else sees your data
- Digistore24 — the reseller: checkout, payment, invoicing, refunds
- Meta — advertising measurement, through the pixel described above
- Hostinger — the company that hosts this website
- Our email provider — delivery of the check-in sequence, if your product includes it
That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Cookies
The site sets cookies for the Meta pixel described above. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work — the pages, the checkout and the download all function without them. Most browsers also offer a “do not track” setting and the major ad platforms offer their own opt-outs; if you have used either, we do not override it.
How long we keep things
Order records are kept for as long as the law requires them to be kept for tax and accounting purposes. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, and removed after that. Server logs are kept for a short period and then overwritten.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can write to hello@valuemethodstudio.com and ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. We will do it, and we will not ask you to explain why.
If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the GDPR give you those rights formally — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, which is the basis on which the advertising pixel operates. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to ask for it to be deleted, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising either. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under California law.
Because the purchase itself is handled by Digistore24, a request that concerns your order or invoice may need to go to them as well — tell us and we will point you to the right place.
Where your data goes
The companies listed above operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your own country, including in the United States and the European Union. They are established providers that offer the transfer safeguards their customers are required to have in place.
Children
These products are written for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
